After a routine check-up at the age of two, his family doctor recommended that Aldo should be consulted by another pediatrician. He thought that little Aldo wasn't behaving right. "I had no idea about what he was talking" said the mother in a recent interview.
"He looked like a normal boy to us" she continues, "but you know doctors, they are trying to fix something even when it's not broken."
The family doctor sent the diSorbo family to a local pediatrician, who recommended a child-therapist. "I had no idea what was going on, but seeing them so worried I began to worry too. So I accepted" Jane diSorbo added.
After a couple of months of tests, the doctor gave a final diagnosis. Aldo diSorbo was an autistic boy and he had to begin therapy.
