Aldo dropped out of school at the age of 15, but he got into college when a local university professor noticed his potential. He worked as a translator during his college years, while he learned two more languages.
He refused to go to graduate school although several schools offered him grants and scholarships. His biggest achievement was when he translated one of Paulo Coelho's books into 6 languages in a single month.
